Zehnab Hamid

Zehnab is a newly qualified solicitor in our Family team. Zehnab joined Philcox Gray in November 2019 as a paralegal, before going on to complete her training contract with the firm, qualifying as a solicitor in May 2023.

Zehnab graduated from the University of Westminster in 2016 with a 2:1 in her European Legal Studies degree during which she successfully spent one year studying abroad in Italy. Following graduation, she took two years out to focus on volunteer work before returning to studies in 2018 to undertake the LPC LLM at the University of Law in Leeds.

Prior to starting her legal career, Zehnab volunteered at her local Citizens Advice Bureau in the role of a Trainee Adviser and Gateway Assessor and then went on to work for Hestia, one of the largest providers of domestic abuse refuges in London and the South East. Initially starting as a volunteer, she was offered employment in the capacity of a Children and Family worker, a role she found to be very rewarding.

Zehnab is fluent in Urdu and currently represents a number of clients who cannot speak English, whose first language is Urdu. Zehnab hopes to qualify as a solicitor advocate and to continue her work assisting vulnerable individuals.
