Sarah is a paralegal in the family department having joined Hornby and Levy in September 2017.
Sarah obtained a 2:1 in English from the University of Exeter before embarking on a career as a nanny. Whilst toddler-taming, she completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the Open University, receiving a merit. She went on to achieve a commendation for the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP before completing the Bar Professional Training Course at City University, graded as Very Competent.
Sarah has undertaken a number of voluntary roles, including at the Personal Support Unit in the Central Family Court and the BPP Legal Advice Clinic. She has also volunteered abroad, in Malawi for the refugee charity There Is Hope, and in Cape Town at a legal aid clinic.
A member of The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, Sarah has been called to the bar of England and Wales, and hopes to practise as a family law barrister in the future. She was awarded the Sir Thomas More Bursary from Lincoln’s Inn and is also a member of the Denning Society.
